Our Story

On March 5, 1995, Interpro Translation Solutions began operations as a professional localization agency and immediately started assisting clients with their translation needs. Our company was founded by Ralph Strozza, whose previous experience as a translation manager for various software companies led him to create a turnkey process for companies needing to offer multilingual versions of their products, services, and content.

Interpro's 20 year timeline

March 5, 1995

First day in business

March 5, 1995 Interpro opened its doors as an AS/400 software localization company and expanded to include DOS and Windows software and online help localization.

1995

First multilingual service

Interpro localizes InstallShield into 20+ languages simultaneously.

1995

Website localized

Interpro is one of the first companies on the World Wide Web to have its corporate website available in multiple languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

1996

Multilingual DTP services

Interpro begins offering desktop publishing services: the formatting of translated content in authoring and design applications.

2000

IBM Olympic website

Interpro localized IBM Olympic website into Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish for the 2000 Sydney games.

2001

Expanded into Argentina

Interpro opens an office in Rosario, Argentina managed by Juan Carlos Quieta.

2002

First mobile localization

First multiple language mobile localization project for Qualcomm (BREW International Products).

2002

Ralph takes full ownership

Interpro's CEO, Ralph Strozza acquires 100% of the company's total shares.

2003

Trados donation to NIU

Interpro donates Trados translation software to Northern Illinois University's foreign language department, starting a long-term collaboration of giving, learning, and teaching.

2004

eLearning services offered

Became proficient in eLearning authoring applications and began offering multilingual training localization.

2005

InterProspectives goes electronic

Interpro generates its first online edition of InterProspectives.

2007

Interpro rebrands

Interpro changes its logo to reflect its partnership-oriented mission.

2010

Plunet selected as TMS

Interpro adopts Plunet’s business manager as its translation management system.

2013

Newly designed website

Interpro redesigns its corporate website to enhance user experience.

2014

Lights, Camera, Action!

Interpro partners with a production company to develop its first set of company videos.

In the last 20 years, Interpro Translation Solutions has helped revolutionize the way organizations communicate with the world. Since 1995, the people who have made up the Interpro team have dedicated their time to learning and adapting to the evolving localization industry as well as the ever-changing technology landscape. Interpro’s initial focus was to assist organizations with software localization projects, and subsequently Interpro expanded its service offerings in response to client needs.

Today, Interpro serves as a true translation partner, helping numerous organizations across a wide variety of industries to reach their global communication objectives. We do this through specializing in multiple multilingual services including website localization, eLearning localization, eCommerce localization, document translation, multilingual desktop publishing, audio and video translation, multilingual project management, and more.
