Emily is a project manager at Interpro. After receiving her B.A. in German and Sociology, she moved overseas to work in Germany where her interest in translation and localization was sparked.
When not managing projects, Emily enjoys binging Netflix, attempting to recreate her favorite German recipes, and hanging out with her dog Dixie.
What is your favorite thing about offering translation solutions? Bridging the language gap is incredibly exciting and such a critical component of progress. I love being able to connect people and businesses in a way that transcends borders and cultures and allows them to succeed all over the world.
What country would you most like to visit? Sweden! It is the last country my family is from that I have left to explore.
Language(s): English, German
If tomorrow you could speak another language fluently, which would it be? Polish or Russian
Favorite music genre: Rock mostly. I am a HUGE Beatles fan!
Funniest international experience: My boyfriend visited me while I was living in Germany and we took a day trip to Paris which went off just fine until the ride home. Between leaving the station late and mechanical problems along the way, our train ended up 7 hours late and instead of getting back at 10:00 pm we got back at almost 6:00 am. We were too exhausted to see the humor in it at the time, but looking back now, we laugh because it sounds like some kind of disaster plot in a comedy movie when we recount it!
