Empowering Local Service and Volunteerism

The Interpro team came together to pack meals and make a meaningful impact at Feed My Starving Children.

Feed My Starving Children (2024)

Interpro team members pack meals during three-hour volunteer shifts, helping fight food insecurity through international aid. Interpro plans to provide volunteer support on an annual basis.

West Suburban Community Pantry (2024)

Eight Interpro employees volunteered in Woodridge, IL, contributing our time, energy, and strength to fighting hunger right in our backyard.

Hampton Elementary Christmas Giving (2024)

Interpro employees purchased and wrapped holiday gifts for children in need at an underprivileged school for children with functional needs, bringing joy and dignity to families during the season of giving.

Metropolitan Family Services (2025)

We collected new and gently-used clothing and household items to support local families in transition, and took several trips to donate them all

DuPage County Election Division (2016, 2024)

Members of our team served as election judges in two presidential elections, because civic engagement is a cornerstone of a thriving community.

Heartland Animal Shelter (2025)

Interpro volunteered at a local animal shelter, playing a small part in providing dogs and cats in need with a clean and safe space before they are adopted.

Championing Health and Wellness

Interpro Team Supports Local Community 5K in Wheaton, IL
Team members, families, and four-legged friends came together to support a great cause – community, wellness, and togetherness at the finish line!

F3 Foundation Annual 5k (2021–present)

We support this organization’s annual 5K race, which promotes brotherhood, fitness, and service in the greater Chicago area. Several Interpro employees are actually participants in this group!

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (2018–2023)

We proudly supported fundraising efforts to advance research and improve lives for those affected by cystic fibrosis, in honor of an afflicted individual close to our founder.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (2010)

We made a financial contribution to support advocacy, education, and mental health resources for our client and in our community. Interpro’s team also participated in the DuPage Chapter of NAMI 5K.

Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (2012)

In memory of our CEO’s uncle, Interpro donated to support individuals and families affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

Breast Cancer Foundation (2016)

We donated in honor of Karen McClanahan, a long-standing employee and friend, to support breast cancer research and awareness.

Supporting Education and Breaking Language Barriers

Interpro Team Shows Huskie Pride in Support of Northern Illinois University (NIU)
Many Interpro team members are proud NIU alumni and long-time supporters, and are proud to support our local roots!

NIU College of Business (2009-present)

Multiple times a year, Interpro speaks to College of Business students on best practices in language localization and the impact of international marketing. Interpro also assists with mock interviews for students.

NIU World Languages Department (2005-2021)

We donated 10 Trados Studio workstations and provided hundreds of hours of hands-on training to future translators. Our initial donation totaled $19,000 in software and services, reflecting our commitment to nurturing the next generation of language professionals.

NIU Foreign Language Residence Program (2004–present)

We’ve contributed funding to help students study abroad, giving them immersive language experiences essential to becoming skilled international communicators.

NIU College of Business Scholarships (2009–2019)

Each year, we awarded $1,000 scholarships to marketing majors – many of them residents of the Chicagoland area – studying foreign languages.

NIU Athletics (2009–2021)

As proud Huskie Football season ticket holders, we supported NIU Athletics to strengthen the programs shaping student athletes in our community.

Maine South High School (2015, 2017, 2019)

Our team led language and cultural awareness presentations to inspire the next generation to explore the world through language.

College of DuPage (2022)

We gave a guest lecture on the importance of translation and localization, helping students to see how language can be a bridge to opportunity.

Duke University (2016)

Interpro presented on all things localization to students as a guest lecturer sponsored by the Forum of Scholars and Publics.

Fenton High School (2023)

Interpro participated in a career day to speak with students about opportunities in the language industry.

Celebrating Community Through Partnerships

Ellwood House Museum (2007–2022)

For 15 years, we annually sponsored holiday trees in service of preserving this historic DeKalb landmark and giving back to the town that gave so much to us.

Junior Achievement USA (2023–2024)

We donated $500 annually to help bring economic education and career readiness to the next generation while raising awareness of the importance of language solutions.

Lions Clubs International (2007)

Interpro provided live demonstrations of Trados and Plunet software to promote technology in translation and encourage support of global language access.

World Central Kitchen (2022)

In response to the war in Ukraine, we made a team donation to fund food relief efforts through WCK’s frontline support initiatives.
