Provide reference materials, hold a pre-event practice session, and allow for setup one hour before start time to ensure seamless interpreting services. Interpro offers a variety of interpreting types, suitable for virtual or in-person events, conferences, and meetings. We customize our services to match your event’s size, format, and language requirements.

There are several types of interpreting to choose from:

• Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI): Attendees listen in real-time through smartphones and headphones via a mobile app or other technology like Zoom or Teams. This allows interpreters and attendees to connect from anywhere in the world.
• On-Site (Traditional) Interpreting: Interpreters are physically present at the event, often working from a soundproof booth, and attendees use traditional interpretation receivers and headsets. This can be simultaneous (interpreter speaks at the same time as the speaker) or consecutive (speaker pauses for the interpreter to convey the message).
• Multilingual Web Meetings: Interpreting services are integrated into platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams facilitate communication during virtual meetings or webinars.
• Instructor Led Training (ILT) Interpreting: This provides multilingual interpreting for both in-person and virtual training sessions.
• American Sign Language (ASL): For individuals who use ASL in on-site and virtual settings.
• Video Overlay Interpreting: An interpreter provides simultaneous interpretation while listening to a video, resulting in a recording of the interpreted audio overlaid on the video.

At minimum, you’ll typically need two interpreters per language for live events, ensuring accuracy and quality through collaboration and rest cycles. However, this can vary depending on your event size, event agenda, number of rooms requiring interpreting and language goals.
